Kewal Impex

Our shop is located at Shop No. 3, tucked into Bhagirathi on Irla Lane in Vile Parle West. It’s a small space, so we have to be careful about how we stack things to make sure there’s enough room to walk around. Kewal Impex has been here for a while, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. Irla Lane is always crowded with people shopping and cars trying to squeeze through, so it can be a bit chaotic outside our front door. Inside, we try to keep things as organized as we can, though boxes often end up piled high when a new delivery arrives. We spend a lot of our time talking to people who walk in and dealing with suppliers on the phone. It’s not a glamorous job, but it keeps us on our toes. We don’t have a website with fancy photos or a big marketing budget. Most of the people who come here are locals or folks who heard about us from a neighbor. We just try to be honest about what we have in stock and what we can get for you. Some days are slow and we sit and drink chai while watching the rain, and other days we don’t even have time to eat lunch. It’s just the two of us usually, making sure the shop stays open and the customers get what they need.
