Kavita Rajeev Munhet

I’m located at D-1/501 right on Andheri Office Lane. It’s a bit of a trek to get up here sometimes depending on how the elevators are feeling that day. My office is pretty basic, just a desk, some chairs for when people visit, and a lot of notebooks. Being in Andheri means there is always something going on outside, and the noise from the lane reaches up here even on the fifth floor. I spend most of my day looking at figures or answering emails. It’s just me and maybe one other person helping out with the tasks. It’s not a huge corporation or anything like that, just a local spot where I handle my business. I’ve lived and worked in this area for a long time, so I’m used to the pace. The office gets a lot of sun in the afternoon, which is nice until it gets too hot. I usually have a tea around four and take a break from the screen. People often get lost looking for the specific building because all the lanes look the same around here, so I end up giving directions over the phone quite a bit. It’s a quiet place to work mostly, away from the main road traffic. I don't have a big mission statement or anything, I just come in and do what needs to be done for the day. It’s a practical setup that works for me and my clients who know where to find me. It feels like a second home after all these years of working here in the lane.
