Patel Rumal House

You can find us at Patel Rumal House on Mohammed Ali Road. We are located in the Kasam Bros. Building, specifically at Shop Number 6. If you know this area, you know how incredibly busy it gets, especially in the evenings. There is always a crowd and plenty of noise. Our shop is small and filled to the ceiling with different types of handkerchiefs and cloth. We’ve been here at number 61 for many years. It’s a traditional kind of shop where we know our customers by name. We don't have a website or anything like that; we just open the shutters in the morning and wait for people to come in. The space is narrow, so we have to be very organized with how we stack our stock. Sometimes things get a bit dusty from the street outside, but we try to keep it clean. We aren't trying to change the world, just selling rumals to whoever needs them. The building itself is quite old and has a lot of character. We share the space with a lot of other small businesses. It’s a tight-knit community on this road. We work long hours, but that’s just the way it is in this trade. It’s honest, simple work that has supported us for a long time. No fancy talk, just a local shop in a famous part of the city.
