Getting to Anil Chambers in Sakinaka is usually an exercise in patience. If you know Andheri Kurla Road, you know the traffic is something else. We are at No. 35 in the Samhita Complex. It is a big area and it can be easy to get turned around if you are not looking at the numbers on the buildings. Karrisa is located on one of the upper floors. The elevator works most of the time, which is a relief when the weather gets hot. Inside, it is mostly boxes and some tables where we do our sorting and checking. It is not the kind of place where you find fancy decorations. We have some calendars on the wall and a small area for making coffee. Most of us have been here for a few years now, so we know the routine. We start early to beat the worst of the heat and the evening rush. Sometimes the rain gets so heavy that you can hear it hitting the roof really loud, making it hard to hear anyone talking. We just keep our heads down and handle the orders as they come in. It is a practical space for practical work. The neighbors are mostly other small businesses doing the same thing. We do not really have a lobby, just a door that stays open during the day.
