Kanu Krishna Corporation is situated in the heart of the market at 104 Kazi Syed Street. We are up on the fifth floor of Goradia House, in rooms 501, 502, and 503. Masjid West is a very hectic place to work. From our windows, we can see the tops of trucks and the sea of people moving goods back and forth. It’s a wholesale area, so things are always moving. Our office is often filled with samples and boxes, making it hard to walk around sometimes. We handle a variety of trade goods. The phone doesn't stop ringing from the moment we open. It’s a bit of a maze to get up here, and the elevator is often busy with people carrying heavy loads. We’ve been in this spot for years and know all the other business owners in the building. We often help each other out with small things. Lunch is usually ordered from a local place and eaten quickly at our desks. There’s no time for long breaks when there are shipments to track. The walls are covered in calendars and notes pinned up everywhere. It’s a practical, no-nonsense office. We don't have time for anything that doesn't help get the orders out. It’s exhausting sometimes, but it’s the life of the market and we are part of it.
