Kangaroo Garments

Kangaroo Garments is tucked away in 213, B Wing of the Paras Building. We are up on the 2nd floor, which is a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up. The building is right by the Opera House area on Charni Road in Mumbai. It’s a very old part of the city with a lot of history, though we don’t pay much attention to that when we are busy with work. The address says Charni Road Mumbai a few times because that is really where everything happens for us. Being in the B Wing means we have a bit of a view of the street below, which is always packed with cars and people. Our space is filled with rolls of cloth and different types of thread. We spend most of our time at the workbenches. It isn't a quiet place; there is always the sound of someone talking or a machine running. Paras Building is full of different offices, so we share the floor with a few other people. We’ve been at this Charni Road location for quite some time now. It’s a good spot for us because it’s central. We don’t really have a big marketing plan or anything. We just take the orders that come in and try to finish them on time. It is a very basic way of doing things, but it works for us.
