Teerth Creation

Teerth Creation is up on the second floor of Meera Apartment, right there at A-201. Shankar Lane is always a bit of a mess with traffic and people walking to the station in Kandivali West. You can hear the rickshaws honking from the window all day long. The apartment building isn't new, so the walls have some marks and the elevator can be a bit slow if you’re in a hurry. Inside our space, it’s mostly just tables and the equipment we use for our daily tasks. We don’t have a receptionist or a waiting room; you just walk in and someone will be there at their desk. Usually, there’s a stack of boxes near the door waiting to be moved. We have a small window that looks out over the lane, which is good for a break when you’ve been staring at a screen too long. The light in the afternoons is quite bright and makes the dust in the air show up. We keep a kettle in the corner for making tea because that’s how we keep going through the afternoon. It feels more like a home than an office sometimes because of being in a residential building. We know the neighbors and the guy who delivers the mail. It is a small operation, and we like it that way because we can keep an eye on everything ourselves without too much fuss or complicated systems.
