Kalendi Exports

You can find Kalendi Exports over in Masjid West, specifically at 277/273 Narshi Natha Street. We are up on the 4th floor of the Anand Deep Chamber, in room 417. The elevator is one of those old ones that feels a bit jumpy, so some of us just take the stairs if we aren't carrying anything heavy. Being in this part of the city means it is always hectic. There are porters carrying sacks on their backs and handcarts blocking the way all the time. It is a very lively place to work. Inside the office, we have samples of what we export sitting on various shelves. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty because of the construction nearby, but we try to keep it clean. Kalendi Exports is where we spend at least ten hours a day, mostly arguing about shipping dates or checking the quality of a batch. It’s not the quietest office, as you can hear the street vendors shouting from down below even with the windows shut. We keep a kettle in the corner for making coffee when the afternoon slump hits us. It’s a busy environment and there is always something that needs fixing or someone calling about a delay. We just take it one day at a time and try to stay on top of the pile of papers on the desks. Working in Masjid West definitely keeps you on your toes every single day.
