Kalapoornam

We are over in Goregaon West, specifically at 86/786/3 on SV Road. We are right opposite the Bangur area, which everyone around here knows. SV Road is always packed with cars and buses, so there is a lot of honking all day long. Our space is just a regular unit. It’s got high ceilings and some old shelves that we’ve had since we moved in. It is a bit dusty because of all the construction going on nearby. We don’t have any fancy air conditioning, just a couple of ceiling fans that hum. We spend our time managing the daily bits of the business. Sometimes the neighbors come in for a chat. It is a very local vibe. The entrance is a bit narrow, so you have to look closely to see the sign. We have a small back room where we keep extra stuff and a kettle for making tea. The floor is tiled but some of them are cracked. It doesn’t bother us much. We are more focused on getting things done. Goregaon is a busy place to be, and being on SV Road means we see everything that happens in the neighborhood. We don’t have a big staff, just a few of us who know how everything works. It is a bit of a squeeze when we get deliveries, but we manage. We’ve been at this spot for quite some time now and it feels like home. It is not about being corporate, it is just about showing up every day.
