K. T. Bond Stores

You’ll find K. T. Bond Stores over in the Adamji Building, room 511. It’s on Nursinatha Street in Masjid West. If you’ve ever been to this part of the city, you know it’s constant chaos. There are handcarts, trucks, and people everywhere. Our building is old, and the elevator doesn't always want to work, so we end up walking the stairs a lot. We’re a bonded store, which means we handle a lot of goods that are coming and going. It’s a lot of ledgers, stamps, and customs talk. The office is small and filled with the smell of old paper and maybe some spices from the street markets nearby. We don't have fancy lights or air conditioning that works perfectly. We just have our desks and our files. People come in and out all day with delivery notes. It’s a practical business. We don’t do marketing because everyone in the trade knows where we are. We’ve been at this address through all kinds of weather and city changes. It’s hard work, and it’s often dirty work, but it’s what we know. We don’t have a big mission statement. We just make sure the boxes match the papers and that everything is where it should be. It’s just us, working in the middle of Masjid.
