K Raheja Corp.

Being in Girgaum at Kdgb Niwas is different from the newer parts of Mumbai. Our office for K Raheja Corp. is at 109/5, and it feels like a real part of the old city. The lanes are narrow, and there is always some noise from the neighbors or the street vendors. It’s a very grounded place to work. We don’t have those massive elevators or shiny lobbies. Instead, we have a space that feels lived-in and real. Most of us have been around here long enough to know the local tea stall guy by name. Work usually involves a lot of back-and-forth with files and phone calls. It gets quite hot in the summers, but the fans keep us going. Sometimes we just sit and talk about the changes in the area. Girgaum has a specific rhythm, and we are just another small part of it. We aren't trying to impress anyone with the decor. It’s about getting the jobs finished so we can head home on time. The address is easy to find if you know the Niwas, but a bit tricky for newcomers. We like it that way. It keeps things quiet enough to actually get stuff done. Not much else to say except that we are here every day, making sure things stay on track. We've got a couple of old desks and the floor creaks a bit, but it serves the purpose.
