K. K. Hangers

We've been at Lohar Chawl for quite a while now. The shop is in the Lalsingh Mansingh Building, right near the busy Crawford Market area. Most people know how crowded it gets around here, but it's where the work happens. We handle all kinds of hangers. Sometimes it's the plastic ones for local shops, other times it's heavy-duty metal hangers for bigger places. It's just a regular shop where we keep things moving. We spend most of the day sorting through stock and making sure the boxes are ready for whoever stops by. The building is old and has that classic market feel to it. You walk in and see stacks of hangers everywhere. It isn't a fancy showroom or anything like that. Just a practical space. We deal with a lot of regular people who've been coming to this part of Mumbai for years. Usually, it's about getting the right size and type of hanger for whatever clothes they’re selling or hanging up at home. There’s always noise from the street outside and people pushing carts through the lanes. It’s a lot of work keeping everything organized in a small space like this. We don’t really do much else besides focus on the hangers and making sure the inventory is there when someone needs it. It’s just how we run things every day. Nothing too complicated, just a lot of boxes and a lot of hangers being moved around the shop floor.
