You can find K K Computers over in Borivali West, near Joggers Park. We’re actually in a residential building, Flat No 10 on the 5th Floor of the A Wing. It’s a bit different from a storefront on the ground floor, but it works out well for us because it stays a bit quieter. People usually call us before coming over. We’ve been fixing computers and helping people with their tech problems from this apartment for a good while. There are cables everywhere and parts of old laptops on the tables, which might look like a mess to some, but we know exactly where everything is. It’s a small operation, just a couple of guys who know their way around a motherboard. We don't have a fancy waiting room or a coffee machine for guests. You just come in, drop off your machine, and we tell you when it’ll be ready. Sometimes it takes a few days if we need to order a specific part that isn't in stock. We don't use a lot of technical jargon when talking to customers because we know it just confuses things. We just tell you what's broken and how much it’ll cost to fix. Most of our work comes from people in the neighborhood who don't want to go to a big service center. We like the personal touch of being local.
