Jyoti General Store

Jyoti General Store is a small corner shop on Sant Sena Maharaj Marg in Vikhroli East. We’re located at number 72/1941, and we’ve been here long enough that we know almost everyone's shopping habits. It’s the kind of place where you can find anything from soap to snacks and pulses. The shelves are always packed, and sometimes things are a bit hard to reach, so we have a small wooden stool we use to get items from the top. We open early in the morning so people can grab what they need before heading to the station for work. It’s just me and my wife running the place most of the time. The shop gets very busy when the local kids get out of school and want some sweets or biscuits. We don't have any fancy displays or a computerized billing system. We just use a manual calculator and wrap things in newspaper or plastic bags for the customers. Vikhroli East is a busy area, and there's always someone popping in for a last-minute item they forgot. The space is tight, and we have to stack things carefully so they don't fall over on the floor. We don’t really do any marketing; our customers are just the people who live in the buildings nearby. It’s a simple life, sitting behind the counter and talking to the neighbors. We just try to keep the essentials in stock so nobody leaves disappointed when they come in.
