You can find us in the Oberoi Trade Centre, which is part of the Oberoi Complex off Malad Link Road. We’re in suite 207. The Andheri West area is always buzzing, and the Link Road is usually jammed with cars, so we’ve learned to be patient with the commute. Our office is a mix of people doing different things for Joy International India Pvt Ltd. We handle a lot of export and import details, which means a lot of computer work and international calls at odd hours. The office isn't very big, so we’re all pretty close to each other. We have a small pantry where we make coffee and sometimes share snacks. It’s a decent place to work, even if the building is a bit older than some of the new glass towers around here. We have a lot of shelves filled with product samples and old files that we haven't gotten around to shredding yet. The light in the afternoon is quite nice through the windows, though it can get a bit warm. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not. We just show up, do the tasks assigned to us, and try to keep things organized. There’s usually someone talking about a shipment being delayed or a new regulation we need to look into. It’s a standard office life with its ups and downs, and we’re just a part of the busy fabric of Andheri. We try to stay on top of the paperwork and keep the clients informed as best as we can.
