Jolly Stores

We've been at the Chandrabhaga B Wing in Dadar East for quite a while now. Most people know us because we are right near Agarwal Classes, so we get a lot of students and parents dropping by. It’s a busy spot. My family runs the place and we mostly just try to keep the shelves full of the stuff folks around here ask for. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded in the aisles when the classes let out, but we manage. We aren’t a big supermarket or anything like that. It is just a regular store where you can find your daily essentials without having to travel too far into the main market area. We open up early most days because that is when the neighborhood starts moving. If we don’t have something, we usually try to get it in by the next week if we can find it from the suppliers. The shop isn't fancy, just some shelves and a counter where we spend most of our day. We know most of the faces that walk through the door by now. It’s just how things are here in this part of Dadar. We don't really do much advertising or anything, word of mouth from the neighbors has always been enough for us to keep going. It's a simple life running a shop like this, but it keeps us busy and connected to the people living in the buildings nearby. Every morning I sweep the front and wait for the milk delivery to arrive.
