Levante Lingerie

Levante Lingerie is tucked away near Jaitun Dairy in Jogeshwari East. If you know where Aman Chowk Masjid is, you are basically right there. We are on the ground floor of the Bandra Plot area. It gets quite crowded in this narrow lane, especially when the dairy trucks come through in the morning and block the way. We started this because there was not a dedicated place for ladies' undergarments right in this specific block. The shop is not fancy or anything. We have some metal racks and a small changing area hidden behind a thick curtain. Most days, I am just sitting here rearranging the stock because the cardboard boxes get messy when people look through them to find their size. Koliwada is a lively spot to be in. You hear the mosque nearby and the local kids playing in the alley out front. Sometimes the electricity goes out for an hour in the afternoon, and we just leave the front door wide open for some light. We keep a variety of sizes, mostly the stuff people need for every day. It is nothing like those big malls you see in the city. People just pop in while they are out buying milk or their daily groceries. We have been here for a bit now, and most of the neighbors know us by face. It is a small operation, just me and occasionally a helper when it gets busy.
