We are over at 129/131 on Kazi Sayed Street. This street is always crowded and narrow, so getting around can be a bit of a headache for anyone not used to it. Our family has been running Jivanlal And Sons for a long time. It’s one of those old-fashioned places where you know your neighbors and everyone is selling something different. We handle various goods and the stock is always coming in and going out of the doors. The building itself shows its age, but it has a lot of history to it. We don't really do much in terms of decorating or making things look modern. It’s a place for work, after all. There is always a lot of shouting and noise from the porters outside on the street. It’s just the way things are in this part of town. We open up early and stay until the work is finally finished for the day. Most of our customers have been coming to us for years, so we know them by name. We don't have any fancy websites or big marketing plans. We just rely on being here every day and doing what we’ve always done. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic with all the boxes, but we manage to find everything eventually. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living, and we’re happy to be part of the community here on this street.
