You can find us at Plot Number 7/25 in Yeshwant Nagar, which is right across from the Apna Bazar in Goregaon West. Being so close to the bazar means the street is always packed with people and delivery carts. Our place at Jeel Invitation Apparels is a bit of a squeeze. We have racks of clothes lining the walls and a few big tables where we do all the cutting and folding. It gets quite warm in the afternoons, so the ceiling fans are always spinning at top speed. The floor is rarely clean for long because of all the loose threads and fabric scraps that fall during the day. We don't have a formal reception area or any fancy chairs for visitors. Usually, if someone comes by, they just stand near the cutting table while we talk. It’s a very hands-on kind of place. We spend a lot of time looking at patterns and making sure the stitching is straight. Sometimes we lose track of time because there is always one more thing to finish before we close up. We get our tea from the guy who walks by with a kettle every morning. It’s a local neighborhood and we've been here long enough that we know most of the people on the block. We don't try to look like a big company because we aren't one. We are just a small team working in a busy part of Goregaon.
