If you come up to the third floor of Jaygopal Industrial Estate, you’ll find us in unit 315. Dadar West is always a bit of a maze, especially on Senapati Bapat Cross Road. It’s an old building, so the elevators are sometimes a bit slow, but we don't mind the stairs. Inside our space, it's mostly stacks of fabric and the sound of sewing machines. We’ve been here for quite some time now. The light comes in through the big windows in the afternoon, which helps when we are looking at small details. It’s a bit cramped because we try to fit a lot in, but we know where everything is. Mostly, it’s just the sound of people working and the occasional radio playing in the background. We don't have a reception desk or anything like that. If you walk in, you’ll probably just see someone busy with a pair of scissors or a measuring tape. We deal with a lot of different people coming through to drop off supplies or pick up finished loads. It gets hot in the summer, so we keep the fans going all day long. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. We just make what we make and try to do a decent job of it before heading home to our families. It’s a bit of a grind, but we like the people we work with every day.
