Jb Exports

Jb Exports is situated at 3, Lafond Street in Chindaripet. If you know that area, you know how narrow the streets can get. We are right in the thick of it. The building at number 3 is an older structure, and we’ve been using it as our base for a long time. It’s mostly filled with boxes and piles of shipping documents. Chindaripet has a very specific energy, very busy and a bit loud with all the trade happening. I usually get here early before the heat gets too bad because the office doesn't stay very cool. We have a few old fans that we keep running all day long. My desk is covered in sticky notes and old pens. We spend a lot of time talking to truck drivers and people at the docks. It’s not a glamorous job, mostly just making sure things get from one place to another without getting lost. We have a small tea break in the afternoon where we sit out front for a bit. There’s a lot of back and forth with the paperwork, and sometimes the customs stuff can be a real headache. We aren't a big company with a HR department or anything like that. It’s just a few of us who have worked together for years. We know the routine and we just stick to it. Every day is pretty much the same.
