Jaycee General Store

This is our general store over at Room No 5 in the New Gala Mansion. We are right in Borivali West, not too far from Chintamani Jewellers. If you are walking down that way, you will probably see our crates of goods sitting out front. We sell a bit of everything, from soap and shampoo to bags of rice and snacks. It is a tight space inside because we try to fit as much as we can on the shelves. Most of our customers are people who live in the apartments nearby and they just pop in for things they forgot to buy at the bigger market. We open early in the morning and stay open until quite late in the evening. It’s a lot of work keeping track of the stock and making sure nothing goes out of date. My nephew helps me out during the busy hours in the evening. We don't really have a website or anything like that, we just rely on people knowing we are here. The neighborhood has changed a lot over the years but our little shop has stayed pretty much the same. We have a small radio that plays music in the background while we work. It’s a busy life but it is what we know. We try to be fair with our prices and just get along with everyone who comes in.
