Jay Gopal Industries

Our place is located in Phase-1 of the G.I.D.C. Industrial Estate in Vatva. It's an industrial area, so there is always the sound of trucks and machinery around. Jay Gopal Industries is basically a big workshop. We have a lot of iron and metal scraps sitting around the yard. It's a bit dusty, honestly. We spend the day running the machines and checking on the production runs. It's physical work. We wear boots and old clothes because you’re going to get dirty anyway. The office is just a small room partitioned off from the main floor so we can hear the noise even when we are trying to do the accounts. We've been in Vatva for years. We know the neighbors and the tea stall guy nearby. We don’t have a flashy website or a big sign out front. People just know the address at J-4, 5/7. Sometimes the power goes out in the estate and we all just sit outside until it comes back on. It's part of the job. We make parts and components, nothing too complicated but it needs to be done right. There is a lot of sweat involved especially in the summer months. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to finish the day's work and get things loaded onto the trucks. That is how it goes here at Jay Gopal Industries. We just keep our heads down and work.
