Jalaram Stores

You can find us on Marol Maroshi Road, right in the Trikam Saheb Apartment building. We are sitting right beside Jalaram Hardware, which makes it easy for people to find us since they usually know that spot. Right across the road is the Nand Dham Industrial Estate, so we get a lot of workers coming over during their breaks. The shop is usually a bit of a squeeze because we try to keep a lot of things on the shelves. There is always something that needs restocking or a shelf that needs dusting. We have been part of this street for a while now, watching the traffic grow and the buildings change. It is a lively area, especially in the mornings when everyone is rushing to get their supplies. We spend a lot of time just talking to the locals who live in the apartments above us. They drop by for small things they forgot to buy earlier. The sidewalk outside can get pretty cramped with people passing through. We have our own way of doing things, usually with a notebook and a pen nearby to keep track of what is running low. It is not a high-tech operation, just us making sure the doors are open on time and the customers find what they are looking for. It feels like home after all these years, even with the noise from the industrial estate across the way.
