Jagdish Ramji Dryfruit

We are located in Anant Sadan, specifically at Shop Number 2. Jagdish Ramji Dryfruit has been a part of this neighborhood for a long time. When you walk into the shop, the first thing you notice is the smell of cashews, almonds, and raisins all mixed together. It’s a small space, so we have to stack the boxes pretty high to fit everything in. We spend a lot of time sorting through the stock to make sure everything is fresh because nobody likes a stale walnut. The area around Masjid is always crowded, and our shop is no different. We get regular customers who have been buying their festive supplies from us for decades. They come in, ask about the family, and then pick out their stuff. We don't really have a website or do much on the computer. Most of our business is done face-to-face across the wooden counter. It’s a lot of weighing things on the scale and packing them into bags. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic during the holiday seasons, and we have to work late into the night just to keep up. We are just normal people who know a lot about nuts. We don't try to be fancy. If the crop is good, we tell you. If the price went up because of the rain, we tell you that too. It’s just an honest way to run a shop.
