J P Paints

Our shop, J P Paints, is located over in Shivaji Nagar at the Vijay Industrial Estate, specifically in the Kathiwad Building. It’s an industrial area, so there’s always something going on nearby with trucks and noise. We’ve been operating out of F-8 for some time. We sell different kinds of paints and related things people might need for their projects. Usually, the day starts early when we open up the shutters and start moving things around so people can see what we have. It’s not the most glamorous place, but it works for us and the customers who know where to find us. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty with all the construction and activity in the estate, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. We mostly deal with local folks and some workers from the nearby units. We don’t go in for big advertisements or anything like that. People mostly hear about us from their neighbors or just happen to drive past and stop in. We keep the shelves stocked as much as we can. It’s a lot of lifting and moving buckets, which keeps us busy. We take our lunch breaks when there’s a quiet moment, usually sitting near the entrance. It’s just a small business trying to keep things moving along day by day in Shivaji Nagar. If you are looking for us, we are right there in the building.
