J. K. Cosmetics

J. K. Cosmetics is based in the Munshi Compound over in Sonapur, Bhandup West. We are situated near the pipe line on Dargah Road. It’s a bit of a walk from the station, but it’s a good spot for our small production unit. We make various cosmetic items here. The space is filled with mixing vats, jars, and the smell of whatever fragrance we’re using that day. It isn't a high-end laboratory with white coats and glass walls. It’s more of a family-run feeling place where everyone knows what needs to happen next. We spend our time checking labels and making sure the batches are consistent. The compound is always busy with other small businesses, so there’s a lot of coming and going. Sometimes the road outside gets blocked with trucks, but we just work around it. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. Most of our day is spent actually making the products and packing them into boxes for the local shops. The office part is just a couple of desks in the corner where we handle the bills. It’s a bit dusty, and the fans are always running to keep the air moving. We’ve been in this spot for quite a while now and have seen the neighborhood change, but our routine stays pretty much the same. We just keep our heads down and keep the production line moving as best as we can every single week.
