Intertrade Exim

Our office is over in the Fort area, which is full of old buildings and narrow streets. We are located in the Green House, room number 101, right on Green Street. It is a very traditional part of Mumbai for trading. The building itself is quite old and has a lot of character, though the stairs can be a bit steep. We have been running Intertrade Exim from here for quite some time. It’s not a polished corporate environment. We have wooden desks that have seen better days and shelves packed with folders. Most of our work involves dealing with trade documents and talking to people over the phone. It gets quite noisy outside with all the people walking by and the honking cars, but we don't mind it much anymore. We usually start the day with some tea and a quick talk about what needs to be done. There isn't any big management hierarchy here. If something needs to be fixed, one of us just does it. We deal with various goods and try to stay on top of the export rules. It is a lot of routine work, but it keeps us busy. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow, but we manage to get the emails out eventually. It is just a basic, honest place where we come to work every single morning and do our best.
