Our office is located at 51/10 on the 3rd Main Road in Kasturba Nagar, Adyar. We’re actually inside Prems Flats, so it feels more like a home than a traditional office building. It’s a quiet street for the most part, lined with trees and residential buildings. Working out of a flat means we have a kitchen for making tea and a little balcony where we can stand when we need a break from looking at the computers. Inspire Consultancy Services isn't a giant firm with hundreds of employees. It’s a small team of us sitting in what used to be a living room and a couple of bedrooms. We like the atmosphere here because it’s relaxed and we don't feel the pressure of being in a high-rise. Sometimes the doorbell rings and it’s just someone delivering mail or a neighbor asking a quick question. We spend our days on calls and looking through documents. The commute to Adyar is usually alright for most of us, though the 3rd Main Road can get a bit clogged with parked cars during the middle of the day. We’ve been here long enough that we know the local shops and where to get the best snacks nearby. It’s a comfortable way to work. We don't have a big corporate sign outside, just a small nameplate by the door that you might miss if you aren't looking for it. It suits us.
