You can find us over at 43-C in Mittal Towers. It is one of those big, confusing buildings where you can easily get lost if you aren't paying close attention to the signs. Indo Bakels is an office where we handle all the business side of our baking ingredients. We don't actually do any of the baking here in this office, but sometimes someone brings in samples and the whole floor smells like vanilla or sweet yeast for a few hours. There are four of us usually in the main room, and we are surrounded by thick catalogues and little sample jars. The desks are always a bit cluttered with order forms and yellow sticky notes. We spend a lot of time on the computer, dealing with shipments and talking to different bakeries all over the area. It is a steady, predictable kind of work. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy lobby or expensive leather chairs. Our chairs actually squeak quite a bit whenever you lean back to stretch. It is the kind of place where we celebrate everyone's birthdays with a simple cake and some hot tea from the pantry. Mittal Towers is always bustling with people, so there is a constant noise coming from the hallway, but we don't mind it much anymore. We have been here long enough that the commute feels like second nature to us. It is just a practical office for a practical business. We make sure the ingredients get where they need to go.
