Our office is up in Mittal Tower, specifically at 43-C, over in Nariman Point. Being in such a tall building in a busy part of Mumbai is a bit different from being in a factory, but we still deal with the same bakery stuff every day. Indo Bakels is focused on ingredients and things that bakers need to make their bread and cakes turn out right. Even though we are in a corporate-looking building, the talk inside is all about yeast, mixtures, and baking times. We spend a lot of time on the phones or looking at charts. The view from Nariman Point is nice, but mostly we are looking at orders and making sure everything is moving along. We have a small team here, and it can get pretty hectic when everyone is trying to coordinate deliveries across the city. It’s not all polished and perfect like those movies; there are stacks of paper on the desks and someone is always looking for a lost pen. We’ve been in this tower for a while, and it’s a good spot to reach everyone from. We don't really have a storefront where you can buy a loaf of bread, as we handle the side of things that people don't usually see. It’s mostly logistics and planning. We just come in, do the work, and try to get home before the traffic gets too bad. That's about it. It’s just a regular office day.
