Indian Seafood Corportion

We are down at Sassoon Dock, right in the Bpt Building at 158/1. If you know Colaba, you know how busy it gets around here, especially early in the morning when the boats come in. It is a noisy place, full of people and the salt smell of the sea. We have been in this spot for a good while now, handling the seafood that passes through the docks every single day. The building itself is just a standard old structure, nothing special to look at, but it gets the job done for us. Our days start way before most people are even awake. There is a lot of ice, a lot of heavy crates, and a lot of quick decisions to be made on the fly. It’s hard work and your boots are always wet, but that’s just how the seafood business goes. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us here, making sure things are sorted and sent where they need to go. Some days the catch is huge and we are running around like crazy, other days it’s a bit quieter. We see the same faces every morning, which is nice. Dealing with fish is mostly about timing and being here on the ground. You won't find anything fancy in our office, just the essentials to keep the operation running. It’s practical, it’s messy sometimes, and it’s what we do. Being right here in the heart of the dock area means we are always in the middle of the action.
