If you walk down D.M. Road in Vakola, you'll find us in the Haji Siddik Building. We are Ics Realty Private Limited. Santa Cruz East is a pretty crowded area, but it’s where all the action is if you’re looking at property in Mumbai. We’ve been sitting in this office for a while now, dealing with flats, shops, and whatever else people are looking to buy or lease. It’s not a glamorous job. A lot of the time we are just checking paperwork or talking to people about prices that keep going up every year. People come in worried about their investments or just looking for a decent place to live near the station. We try to be straight with them. The building itself is old, but it’s got character and everyone in the neighborhood knows where it is. We don’t spend much time on fancy brochures. Usually, it’s just us on the phones or out meeting people at different sites. The traffic in Vakola can be a nightmare, so we do a lot of our work right here from the desk when we can. It’s a small team, nothing too big. We just know the local streets and who is selling what. It’s a lot of talking and a lot of documents, but that is just the way the realty business goes in this part of town.
