Our office is located at 10 Nagrawala Compound in Mumbai, and if you know Mumbai, you know how these compounds are. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes with all the different businesses tucked away in one area. Himmatlal M Shah Sons has been operating from here for quite a while now. It gives the place a bit of a nostalgic feel, though we’re too busy to notice most of the time. There is always a lot of activity in the compound—trucks loading, people moving crates, and the constant hum of the city in the background. We have a small crew here, and we mostly just stick to our routine. The mornings are for sorting out the schedule, and the afternoons are for getting the actual work done. We don't have fancy leather chairs or glass partitions. It’s just wooden desks and metal cupboards. Sometimes the humidity makes everything feel a bit sticky, but that’s just life in Maharashtra. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a sleek office. We’re just here to do our job, handle the orders, and make sure everything is accounted for before we lock up the gates and head home in the evening. It's not glamorous, but it is exactly what we need to stay productive.
