We are located over at Swastick Chambers, which is on S T Road in Chembur. Our office is P B No-7214, sitting right in the middle of a busy commercial hub. The building is one of those large complexes where you can easily get turned around if you don't know which floor you’re going to. It’s got that 224 address that most people in the area recognize. Working in exports means we deal with a lot of paperwork and phone calls to people in different time zones, so there’s always someone in the office even at odd hours. The furniture is old-fashioned—heavy wooden desks and filing cabinets that have seen a lot of use over the years. We have a small window that looks out toward the road, but the view is mostly just the tops of buses and the smog. It’s a functional space, nothing more. We aren't big on decorating or having a fancy reception area. Most of the room is taken up by ledgers and sample packages waiting to be shipped out. Chembur can be a tough commute depending on the trains, but we’ve all been doing it for so long it’s just part of the day. We focus on getting the shipments cleared and making sure the documentation is right, which keeps us plenty busy from morning until evening.
