Hansraj Khimraj & Company has been around at No. 162/164 Bara Imam Road for quite a while. We are right in the Null Bazar area, which is always crowded and full of life. It’s one of those old parts of the city where the streets are narrow and you hear everything. Our building has a lot of history to it. We don't do things in a very modern way; we still keep our records and do our work much like we always have. The space is filled with stacks of goods and the smell of the market outside. Sometimes it's hard for people to find us the first time because of all the shops packed together on Bara Imam Road. We know most of the neighbors and the people who have worked here for years. It’s a family-style environment even if we aren't all related. We deal with various goods and supplies throughout the day. There is a lot of talk and haggling in the street, which you get used to after a while. We sit on the floor sometimes to go over the stock. It’s a very traditional way of doing business. We don't have a website or anything like that. We just rely on people knowing us and coming to the shop in Null Bazar. It’s a simple life but we stay busy. There is always a lot to keep track of here.
