Hamza Marine

Samuel Street is where you will find us, specifically at 3-D on the ground floor. Being in Dongri means there is always something happening right outside the door. We are Hamza Marine, and this office has been our base for quite some time now. Being on the ground floor is handy because we don't have to deal with stairs or elevators when we are moving things in and out. The air is often thick with the smells of the neighborhood and the sound of traffic. It is a very lived-in part of the city. Inside, the floor is concrete and stays relatively cool even when the sun is hitting the street hard outside. We have our desks set up near the back where it is a bit quieter. Sometimes the neighbors pop in just to say hello or ask a question. We don't have a lot of decorations on the walls. It is mostly just maps and some old calendars we haven't taken down yet. The Samuel Street vibe is fast, but inside here, we try to keep things steady. Working in Dongri gives you a certain perspective on how the city moves. We just focus on our daily tasks and handle the marine side of things from this little corner. It is a practical space, nothing more and nothing less. We keep the door open mostly to let a bit of a breeze in. It is just how we run things here on Samuel Street.
