Gurmeet Kaur

I’ve been working out of my place here in Jagruti Building for quite a while now. It's on the sixth floor, just off Carter Road No 3 in Borivali East. Living and working in Mumbai means there’s always something going on, and this spot keeps me close to the action while still being a quiet enough space to get things done. I mostly handle everything myself or with a bit of help when things get busy. It isn't a big fancy office with a receptionist or anything like that. Just a desk, some supplies, and me trying to keep up with the daily tasks. People usually find me through word of mouth or if they live nearby and need something handled quickly. I like the neighborhood because everything is within walking distance, even if the traffic on the main road gets a bit much sometimes. My setup is pretty simple. I don’t go for anything flashy because that’s not really how I do things. You just show up, we talk about what you need, and I see if I can help you out. It’s been this way since I started, and I haven’t seen a reason to change it into some big corporate thing. Most days are just spent sorting through paperwork or taking calls while the city hums along outside the window. If you’re around Borivali, you probably know the area well enough. It’s a decent place to be based.
