Gupta Stores

Gupta Stores is a local fixture over here in Santacruz West. You can find us on Puna Vivekanand Road in the Punagam area. It’s a lively neighborhood with plenty of people walking around at all hours. We’ve been running this store for quite some time now. We carry a bit of everything, from snacks to household items. The shelves are always packed tight. Sometimes it’s hard to see the back wall because of all the boxes. We don't have a big staff, usually just a couple of family members helping out behind the counter. The front of the shop is often crowded with crates of drinks or fresh produce that just arrived. We don't use any fancy marketing tricks or big advertisements. We just stay open late and try to have what people are looking for. The street outside is usually full of rickshaws and vendors. It can be quite a scramble during the evening rush. We know the names of the local kids who come in for sweets after school. The paint on the door frame is peeling a bit, but it doesn't stop anyone from coming in. We like the rhythm of this place. It’s not a supermarket; it’s just a corner store where you can grab what you need and have a quick chat with us. That’s how we’ve always done things here. We don't plan on changing it anytime soon.
