We are located right on A Road in the Churchgate area. It is a pretty well-known spot because it is so close to the station. Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers Co. Ltd. has this office here and it is always a bit hectic. People are coming in and out all day long. The building is old but it stays cool enough even when it is hot outside. We handle a lot of things related to the fertilizer business, mostly the administrative side and coordination. It is not a flashy office with modern furniture. Most of the desks have been here for years and they have that worn-in look. We have a lot of maps and charts on the walls to help us keep track of where things are supposed to be. Working in Churchgate means you are always in the middle of everything. You can smell the sea air sometimes if the wind is right. We do not spend much time on decorations or making things look pretty for visitors. We are mostly focused on the paperwork and the phones. Lunch usually means a quick bite from one of the stalls nearby or sitting at our desks. It is just a regular workplace where everyone knows each other’s names and we get through the daily tasks one by one. There are piles of folders everywhere, but we know where everything is.
