We are located over in Elphinston West, inside the J.V. Patel Compound on B.M. Road. Our office is Unit 202 and 203 in Prime Plaza. It’s a bit of a maze back here if you aren’t familiar with the compound, but we like it. The building is usually full of activity because of all the other units around us. We spend a lot of time looking at fabrics and checking samples. It’s a lot of hands-on stuff, not just sitting at a desk all day. The lights are bright so we can see what we're doing. Sometimes we have stacks of boxes waiting to go out, which makes the space feel a bit cramped, but that’s just how it goes in this business. We don’t have a fancy reception area or anything. You just walk in and we're right there at our desks. Most of us have been working together for a few years, so we know each other's habits pretty well. It’s a lot of back and forth with suppliers and making sure the sizes are right. The local tea stall is where we usually end up during the afternoon break to get some fresh air. It’s just a normal workplace with a lot of fabric scraps and threads lying around on the floor. We try to keep things moving along so we don't fall behind on our weekly targets. It’s busy, but we prefer it that way over being bored.
