This unit is located in the Shreyas Industrial Estate, specifically at C-201, right off the Western Express Highway in Goregaon East. It’s a busy spot because the highway is always packed with cars and trucks. Sutva For Gowns is where we handle the heavier, more decorative stuff. Since we are part of the Craftsvilla warehouse system, there are always boxes coming and going. The space is large and has those high industrial ceilings that make everything echo. We have racks and racks of gowns hanging up, all covered in plastic to keep the dust off. Goregaon gets very humid, so we try to keep the warehouse as airy as possible. It’s not a shop where you walk in and browse. It’s a place of work where we check every gown for loose threads or missing beads before they get sent out. We spend a lot of time on our feet, walking back and forth across the concrete floor. Sometimes it gets a bit overwhelming with all the different styles and sizes, but we have a system that works for us. We eat our lunch together in a small corner near the window. You can hear the trains passing by not too far away. It’s a lot of logistics and manual checking, making sure the dresses are actually ready. We just try to keep things organized so nothing gets lost in the shuffle before it hits the delivery truck.
