Our office is set up in Lotus Corporate Park, specifically in the D-601/602 and G-601/602 sections. It’s a massive complex right by the Graham Firth Steel Compound on the Western Express Highway. Being this close to the highway means we spend a lot of time looking at the traffic jams out the window. The building itself is quite modern compared to some of the older spots in Mumbai, but inside our units, it’s just a standard working environment. We have a lot of floor space spread across these different rooms, which helps when we have big shipments coming in or going out. It can get a little confusing navigating the corridors if you aren't used to the layout. The air conditioning is usually cranked up high to beat the humidity outside. We have a decent sized team and everyone is pretty much used to the fast pace of things here. There’s always someone on the phone or typing away. We don’t go in for anything flashy. The furniture is just basic office stuff and we have stacks of paperwork that never seem to get smaller. It’s a practical setup for the kind of distribution work we handle day in and day out. Sometimes we go downstairs for a quick break just to get some air, even if it’s just the smell of the highway. It’s just a regular place where work gets done.
