Shreys Industrial Estate is a busy hub in Goregaon East, and that is where you will find us at B-205. Being on the second floor means we get a little bit of a breeze if we keep the windows open, though the sound of the trains nearby is always there in the background. It is an industrial building, so there are always people moving carts or loading vans in the driveway below. Our space is organized into different sections for cutting, sewing, and packing. We’ve been in this building for some time now and know most of the other tenants. The walls are a bit scuffed from moving equipment around, but we don't mind that much. It looks like a place where work happens. Every morning starts with a quick meeting to see what the day’s priorities are. We drink a lot of chai from the local vendor who comes around twice a day. The lift in this building can be a bit slow, so we often just take the stairs if we aren't carrying anything heavy. It is a very typical Mumbai workspace—compact, busy, and always a little bit noisy. We don't have a fancy showroom, just a small area where we keep some samples for people to see if they happen to visit. We just keep our heads down and get the work finished before the evening rush starts at the station.
