We operate out of Unit No. 1 and 2 in the Goregaon Universal Compound. If you are on I. B. Patel Road in Goregaon East, just look for the Pooja Hotel and we are right behind it. It’s a large industrial space where we make all kinds of clothes. We called the place His & Hers India Apparels because we handle garments for everyone. Inside the units, it’s mostly the sound of sewing machines and steam irons. We have a lot of people working here, but it doesn't feel like a big corporate office. It’s more of a workshop vibe. There are piles of fabric everywhere and patterns hanging on the walls. We don't have a showroom with models or anything. Most of our work is for other businesses that need their designs manufactured. It gets pretty hot during the day, especially with all the machinery running, so we keep the fans on high. We’ve been in this compound for quite some time now. We know the security guards and the other business owners around here. It’s a tough business with tight deadlines, but we manage to get things out the door. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to make sure the stitching is straight and the orders are correct. It’s a lot of manual labor and staying focused on the task at hand.
