We are Gn Garments Llp, and you can find us at Dariya Mahal on Nepean Sea Road. Our office is up on the 16th floor, in unit B-93. It’s a well-known building in Malabar Hill, right near the Walsingham House School. Being up so high gives us a bit of a view, but we are usually too busy with the garments to look out the window much. The wind can get quite strong up here during the rainy season. This part of Mumbai is quite busy with traffic, especially near the school during drop-off times. We chose this location because it’s where we’ve been for a long time. The space is mostly filled with racks of clothes and piles of fabric samples. It’s a lot of work managing a garment business from an apartment-style office, but we make it work. We spend our days talking to vendors and checking on production runs. It’s not all glamour like people think. There is a lot of counting and checking for mistakes. We keep things simple and don't spend money on fancy decorations. The focus is always on the clothes and getting them out on time. We have a small team here, and we all do a bit of everything. It’s a steady business and we’ve been part of the Nepean Sea Road community for quite some time now. We just want to keep doing what we do without any extra fuss or noise.
