Girnar Garment Private Limited

Girnar Garment is based in the Shri Santoshimata CHS, right near the Reliance Fresh in Mumbai Central. We’re in Flat B/204 on Dr. D B Marg. It’s a very central location, which is great for getting around the city, though the area is always incredibly crowded. Our office is basically a converted apartment, so it has a very lived-in feel. We have desks set up where the living room would be, and the back rooms are full of garment stock and packing materials. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes when we have a lot of deliveries coming in at once. Working out of a housing society means we have to be a bit careful about the noise, but our neighbors are mostly used to us by now. We don’t have a big sign outside or anything. Most people find us because they already know where we are. We just handle the day-to-day business of the garment trade—lots of phone calls, checking papers, and making sure the clothes are right. It’s a straightforward operation. We don’t have a fancy website or a bunch of slogans. We’re just a small private limited company doing our thing in a busy corner of Mumbai. The building is older, and the lift is a bit moody, but it’s home for the business. We just try to get through the daily tasks without too much fuss or bother. It works for us and the people we deal with.
