Girdharlal & Co.

We are located at No. 195 in the Mangaldas Building No. 3 B. If you know Mangaldas Road, then you know how crowded it gets around here. Girdharlal & Co. has been operating from this building for quite some time. To get to us, you have to navigate through the busy corridors and up the stairs. It is an old building, so the walls have a bit of character and the lighting isn't always the brightest. We have a lot of stuff packed into a small space. Usually, there are rolls of fabric or stacks of papers sitting on the desks. It isn't a corporate showroom with glass walls; it's a working office where things actually happen. The noise from the street downstairs never really stops, so we just talk a bit louder to hear each other. We spend most of the day answering the phone and dealing with the people who drop in. It’s a bit of a squeeze when we have more than three people in the room at once. Mangaldas Road is a central spot, so we are always in the middle of the action. We don't worry much about how the place looks to outsiders as long as the work is getting done. We are just local people running a business in a very busy part of town. Our neighbors in the building are mostly like us, just trying to keep things going day by day.
