Shonas Collection

Shonas Collection is my small business here in Ghatkopar West. I don't have a big fancy showroom, just a space where I keep all the clothes and accessories. I started it from my home and then moved to this current setup when I needed more room for the boxes. Most of my day is spent sorting through fabrics and making sure everything is folded right. Ghatkopar is a busy place, and I have lived here my whole life. My sister helps me out with the orders when she is not busy with her own work. We do not have a big sign outside, mostly people find us through friends or family. The lighting in the back room isn't the best, so I do most of my work near the front window where the sun comes in. I try to keep things simple. No big spreadsheets, just a diary where I write down what people bought. Sometimes I get a bit behind on the laundry or the cleaning, but the business comes first. It is a bit messy at times with threads and buttons everywhere, but it feels like a real workspace. I enjoy talking to the ladies who come in to pick out something special for a wedding or a party. It’s nice to see people happy with what they find here in the stacks.
