Raj Garment

You can find Raj Garment at A-2/30 in the Ashapura Industrial Estate. We are in Subhash Nagar, right opposite the Gurudev Hotel in Ghatkopar West. It is a busy spot and the estate is always full of people moving boxes and loading vans. Our unit is not very large, but we make it work. We have the sewing machines set up in rows and there is usually a lot of noise from the motors running. It is a bit cramped inside with all the rolls of cloth and the finished pieces waiting to be packed. We keep the windows open to get some air, but it is still quite warm. The Gurudev Hotel across the way is where we usually go to get a quick snack or some tea when we have a break. Ghatkopar is a fast place, and being in the west part means there is always traffic. We do not have any big fancy showroom. If you come by, you will just see us working. We have been in this industrial estate for quite a while now. The floor is concrete and the walls are filled with shelves right up to the ceiling. We know most of the other people working in Ashapura, and sometimes we help each other out with deliveries. It is a straightforward job, just making garments and getting them out the door. We do not spend much time on decorations.
